CAL CHECK
Hanna CalCheck is a special feature we build into all our food thermometers which gives you the reassurance that your thermometer readings are accurate. Every time Checktemp4 is switched ON the LCD will display “CAL” then “-0-”, indicating that the thermometer circuit is accurate at it’s critical factory calibration point and the ready for use.
REALLY WATERPROOF
Unlike some folding probe thermometers that claim to be fully waterproof but turn out to only rated to IP65 or IP66, the Checktemp4 is fully waterproof and rated to IP67. The IP67 standard is for continuous immersion in water up to 1 meter (3’) in depth which means you can use it in a busy kitchen without worrying about it getting wet and can even wash it under a tap if you need to give it a clean.
WAKE ON MOTION
A built-in motion sensor detects when the meter is picked up and automatically turns the display on when the meter is powered on with the probe out. This means if you put the Checktemp4 down without turning it off, it will automatically go to ‘sleep mode’ and then be instantly ready for use as soon as you next pick it up. Saves time and battery life.
NON-SLIP SILICON GRIP
Checktemp4 features a non-slip silicon grip pad on both the front and back of the thermometer. Available in a choice of 6 HACCP colours it makes our Checktemp4 easy to hold and far less likely to slide off a slippery or greasy surface when put down.
FOLDING PROBE
The fast response food grade Stainless Steel probe folds neatly out of the way when the thermometer is switched off
FLOATS TOO!
The Checktemp4 is not only waterproof, if it’s accidentally dropped into liquid it will float to aid retrieval
